The NEPSE index, which tracks share trading in Nepal’s securities market, continues its upward trajectory. Today, it increased by 37.13 points, reaching a total of 2,690.72, according to the Nepal Stock Exchange.
The sensitive index, which reflects the performance of larger companies, also saw a rise of 7.32 points, climbing to 483.78. Among the 13 subgroups traded today, 11 experienced price increases, while only two saw declines.
Overall, 15,845,449 shares were exchanged, generating a total trading value of approximately 7.09 billion rupees. Notable performers included Three Star Hydropower, which rose by 9.93%, followed by Dolty Power Company at 9.68%, NIC Asia Flexi Capital Fund at 8.80%, Joshi Hydropower at 8.42%, and People's Hydropower at 7.59%.
Conversely, Eastern Hydropower hit a negative circuit today. Other losses were recorded by Kumari Sabal Yojana at 7.40%, Win Nepal Microfinance at 6.14%, Jan Utthan Community Microfinance at 4.07%, and Pokhara Finance, which dropped by 3.76%.
