America will help promote climate and clean energy

On Constitution Day, the United States extended its best wishes to the government and people of Nepal, reaffirming its commitment to collaboration in promoting clean energy and addressing climate change.

In a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the U.S. emphasized the importance of its 77-year friendship with Nepal. Secretary of State Antony Blinken highlighted the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) as a grant initiative aimed at supporting Nepal's economic development. The U.S. expressed its dedication to ongoing cooperation in promoting justice, democratic values, and strengthening people-to-people connections.

The statement also noted the U.S.'s anticipation for the successful implementation of the transitional justice bill, celebrating Nepal’s recent progress in enhancing its democratic system.
