Real Madrid and Barcelona in the Copa del Rey pre-quarterfinals

Real Madrid and Barcelona have reached the pre-quarterfinals of the Spanish Copa del Rey. Real beat second-tier club Alcoyano 3-1 at home on Wednesday night. Barcelona stunned third-class club Linares Deportiva 2-1.

In Real's victory, Eder Milisao scored in the 39th minute and Marquez Asensio in the 76th minute. Real's next goal was a suicide gift from Alcoano. Alcoyano's Danny Vega scored a goal in the 66th minute.

Osmane Dembe scored in the 63rd minute and Ferran Jutgla in the 69th minute in Barcelona's victory. Linares' Hugo Diaz's opening goal in the 19th minute turned into a consolation goal. Agency
